The SGP has decided to strengthen its safety measures after two fatal accidents. The new measures include a requirement for temporary workers to have two days of safety training.

The SGP also plans to increase the number of temporary workers in the construction of the new metro lines. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with a cost of around $1.5 billion. The first phase of the project will be completed in the spring of 2015, with the second phase following in the summer.
