The future of Cityscoot, a self-service electric scooter rental company, is being played out in court. The Paris commercial court is hearing this Tuesday, February 6, since the company was placed in receivership last November.
Spanish Cooltra and the former owner of Silence are the last two candidates for takeover. The company suffered greatly from the Covid-19 crisis and has not managed to become profitable in six years of activity. After having injected more than 60 million euros since 2016, the RATP group and the Banque des Territories have decided to stop the fees.
