A historic building in Bad Tölz is ready for change. The TöLz building committee gives the green light.

What the place will offer will surprise many. A fruit tree nursery is to be created to preserve and grow old varieties from the foothills of the Alps. A small café with a summer terrace is also to be built. The project is expected to be realized in around five years, Thomas Hölzl Jr. says. The building is, as they say, “settled”. However, the famous builder Gabriel von Seidl probably did not build it. Nevertheless, the city as owner has long considered demolition. Since a new building would probably not be approved, it will remain standing and be renovated. It was probably built around 1910, a few years after the “Friedhof in der Au”, as it was called at the time. The meeting was about the future of the ‘Schmidl House’
