One of the largest gangs involved had spoken earlier of carrying out coordinated attacks aimed at ousting disputed Prime Minister Ariel Henry. The incident happened in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, the head of the national union of Haitian police officers told AFP. The death toll is expected to rise as police continue to search for the missing officers, he said. The Haitian government has not commented on the incident.
