The President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, proposed on Sunday to “resolve” the security crisis in Haiti. “We can solve things,” he wrote on X while sharing a message about the crisis.

‘But we will need a UN Security Council resolution, the consent of the host country and that all costs of the mission are covered,’ he added. No details were provided, however, on how El Salvador would go about "resolving" the crisis in the poorest country in the Americas.
