Hamburger SV is apparently separating from coach Tim Walter. Steffen Baumgart is considered a potential successor, reports Sky and Transfermarkt.de.

Sports director Jonas Boldt expressed reservations about the coach's position and emphasized the need to fundamentally rethink the way the team works. Despite Walter's impressive record of an average of 1.82 points per game - the best value in HSV's second division history - the team did not manage to achieve promotion to the Bundesliga under his leadership.
