Hanging tomatoes are a practical solution for the balcony and little space. A young tomato plant, a bucket and a piece of garden foil or a hanging basket are sufficient.
You can choose a variety of hanging or hanging tomatoes, but small bush tomatoes are also possible. The container must later be able to support the weight of the soil, the fully grown plant with its fruits and the regularly added irrigation water. A strong support is necessary, for example in the form of a wall anchor, a beam or other hanging device. Because of their compact growth, cherry tomatoes are more suitable than plants with large fruits.
