A 23-year-old man was hit by a retiree who had taken the motorway in the wrong direction near Toulouse. The driver was in his seventies according to the regional daily Dépêche du Midi.
The accident took place near Castelmaurou. Three other vehicles were hit but the drivers were unhurt. The cause of the accident is not yet known, firefighters said. The incident happened on the A68 motorway near TOULOUSE.
