[HIGHLIGHTS] He won a million dollars in the lottery and was murdered while withdrawing money from the bank: his nephew was arrested

The crime occurred in the small city of Quillota, in the Valparaíso region, Chile. The victim, whose identity remains confidential, had won the jackpot in October 2023.

He was accompanied by his partner and his 21-year-old nephew, who lived with him in a house in the town of Huichahue. The police managed to arrest the nephew and one of the assailants, while the other two remain at large. The nephew confessed his participation in the incident and said that he did it out of economic necessity.
