Residents living near the Timac factory are going to court to assert their rights in the face of heavy metal pollution. The collective must raise 5,000 euros to finance the first studies of the law firm of Corinne Lepage who must defend it.
The City of Tonnay-Charente will file a complaint against the collective. On Thursday, April 4, a constituent meeting of the collective will take place in the presence of the 25 people who volunteer to lead it. They will know what legal form the structure which will fight to obtain compensation will take.
