Helicopter crash in the Swiss Alps: three people die. Three other inmates were rescued and are currently receiving medical care.
The investigation into the cause and how the accident occurred is ongoing. In the sport, skiers are taken by helicopter to remote landscapes to ski in deep snow. A similar heliski accident recently occurred in Canada. The passengers included the pilot, a mountain guide and four customers. The helicopter was supposed to land on the landing site at the summit of the mountain, Petit Combin.
