The employee center on Waisenhausstrasse in Weilheim offers advice on all aspects of the workplace. It carries out educational work in lectures, workshops and projects, and maintains solidarity and community at an association level.
Keywords include “social justice”, “fair instead of precarious work” or Sunday protection. A series of lectures and discussions begins under the motto “Europe is you” next Monday, April 15th. Four further events are planned before the European elections on June 9th (see box), together with several cooperation partners. This also includes the non-partisan group “We in WeILHEIM’, which organized the large demonstration “'Never again' is now - vote for democracy!” at the beginning of February. The employee center sees itself as a contact point for all employees, job seekers and trainees, for employee representatives, works and staff councils. The center is supported by the Catholic Church and has a wide range of experiences.
