Heritage: in search of the lost grape presses of the Côte des Bar. Forgotten at the bottom of a barn, a cellar or a garage, many inactive wine presses are hidden near Bar-sur-Aube and its surrounding communities.
Many presses built under the Ancien Régime also disappeared at the beginning of the 19th century, during the French Campaign. Launched in mid-December, the census has already identified around forty grape presses. Having your press registered does not imply any other obligation for the owners.
