The Popular Party's victory in the regional elections in Spain had its echo in Argentine politics. The two PRO presidential candidates expressed their support for the head of the Community of Madrid.

Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Patricia Bullrich were the first to celebrate the electoral success of the PP. The head of government of the city of Buenos Aires expressed himself via Twitter at 18:40 p.m., while the former Minister of National Security did so minutes later, at 19:06p.m.
