[HIGHLIGHTS] Houthis: a ship hit by a “projectile” off the coast of Yemen

A ship was hit by an “unidentified projectile’ off the coast of Yemen, where attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels are increasing against merchant shipping. The attack caused a fire which was extinguished, the British maritime security agency (UKMTO) said.

“The ship and its crew are safe and sound” and that the boat was continuing its route to its next port of call, UKMTO said. The ship was attacked by a “projectile’, the agency said.
