Madrid, Rome and Berlin are increasing financial aid, with limited effects. The whole of Europe is plunged into a “demographic winter’. By 2050, the proportion of people over 65 should increase. The number of births has plummeted since the 1970s. The decline will get worse. And the decline will be even worse by 2050, according to Eurostat.
