The Air and Space Force is leading a space simulation exercise in Toulouse, called AsterX, until Friday, involving fifteen countries. It takes place in the immense operations room - called the "floor", English being the working language here.

The room is lined with giant screens where, in the middle of curves, ellipses and columns of figures, the ‘Zulu’ time in force in space (one hour less than in France) is shown. It is carried out by the Command of the Space (CDE), a new branch of the Air Force created in 2019.
