A story that claimed a group of homeless veterans were displaced from a hotel in New York turned out to be false. The lie was used by local politicians to criticize the immigration policies of the New York City mayor and the Biden Administration.
Some of those politicians who helped spread the charade have claimed that they were deceived into even asking to investigate the case. The story began to fall when the manager of the Crossroads hotel said they had no record of those transactions nor had they had any veretanos staying.
