Regular maintenance is required for a rainwater collector. Cleaning is carried out in three stages: the gutters, the filter and the cistern.

The location of the tank must be considered before installation. To avoid the presence of bad odors, place a cover on top. If the collector is above the ground, install a grid to prevent insects from getting into the tank. For prevention, use an adapted organic solution for treating rainwater. You can also invest in an aeration system, or even start a pump or air-free treatment.
