In Spain, 133 liters of water are used per person per day, of which the majority goes to the shower, sink and toilet. Older washing machines can spend three times as much per wash as the most efficient ones.

A shower uses 50 to 100 liters - depending on the weather and whether there is a flow reduction head - while a bath needs 200 to 300. The toilet cistern uses between eight and 10 liters each time, while washing your hands can be from two to 18 liters.
