Budapest is the scene of a memorial to the victims of the Second World War. The memorial was held on the banks of the Danube River.

The event was organized by a group of anti-fascist activists from Hungary. It is the second annual event to mark the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the start of World War II. The first event took place on February 11, 1944, when the Allies attacked the city of Berlin. The second was on February 14, 1945, when German troops attacked the town of Budapest.
