The alleged perpetrator of the shooting and the person responsible for the hunting action were placed under judicial supervision. During the 2022-2023 season, hunting accidents caused the death of six people in France, including none who were non-hunters, according to the OFB's report at the end of August. For non-fatal injuries, the Office for Biodiversity recorded 78 firearm accidents during the last season.
