Spanish politician Alberto Nuñez Feijóo was the latest victim of fake news. He was accused of saying Catalonia's independence movement was "pure terror" He was also accused of talking to his deceased dog through a medium.
The accusations were made by a group called X, which has been renamed 'X' in response to the fake news scandal. Feijo is a man steeped in the value of “honor,” says Juan Carlos Varela, editor of El Pais.
