In an unprecedented tribute in Paris, France remembers the "stateless" heroes of the French resistance shot by Nazism. President Emmanuel Macron presided over the great and late ceremony this Wednesday.

The last letter written by Manouchian to his wife, a few hours before his death, was read to those present. The song "L'Affiche Rouge d'Aragon", performed by Léo Ferré, was also performed in tribute to the resistance fighters. Even Marine Le Pen went to the ceremony, in a strong controversy with Macron.
