In France, inflation slows to 2.9% in February, according to INSEE. A mixed slowdown, as transport, energy and rent prices increased compared to January.

Only those of food have decreased over the month, INSEE says. In February, prices increased by 0.8% after -0.2% in January, a rebound due to the increase in the prices of services, notably rent and transport, as well as those of energy.
