A shopping cart on the tracks triggered an emergency brake at Rosenheimer Platz in Munich. A 37-year-old deliberately threw the car onto the track in front of an incoming train.

Despite the driver's quick actions, a collision could not be prevented. The approximately 80 passengers were uninjured and, with the support of the Munich fire department, were able to leave the train and continue their journey. The public prosecutor's office ordered a presentation before the judge and is now investigating the man for dangerous interference with rail traffic.
