Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire gave "his total support" to the project of extension of the large seaport of Guadeloupe. The objective is to accommodate 300-metre-long container ships, including those of CMA-CGM, which is one of the project's investors.
The total investment amounts to "170 to 180 million euros", according to Bruno LeMaire, who assured local authorities of his willingness to defend the operation "at European and obviously governmental level"
