American Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, said tonight (Thursday) in an interview with the Saudi Al-Hadath channel that an agreement on a deal to release hostages in exchange for a ceasefire is getting closer. Blinken gave the interview during a visit to Saudi Arabia.
He met last night with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and discussed with him the situation in Gaza. Today Blinken will meet in Cairo with the foreign ministers of six Arab countries and with the envoy of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. On Friday He will arrive in Lincoln in Israel and meet with Netanyahu and the War Cabinet.
