The Vatican is working on the first World Children's Day which will be held on 25 and 26 May in Rome. Young people will also arrive from war zones, from Palestine to Ukraine, from Afghanistan to Syria.

The WYD will be celebrated on a dual level - explained Card. José Tolentino de Mendonca, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education. There are two main events: the Christmas Eve and the Sunday Mass, and Pope Francis will participate in both.
