This Friday, April 25, around 9:30 p.m., a motorist drove his car onto the terrace of the bar-restaurant Le chat qui peche, located in Étel, a village in Morbihan south of Lorient. Eleven people were slightly injured and four were taken to hospital.

The driver had, earlier in the evening, been turned away from the same bar by his owner who considered him “aggressive” with customers. After crashing into the restaurant, the man fled in his pickup truck.
