The Palais Dobrée, built in the 19th century, is being rediscovered in Nantes. After 12 years of closure and two years of work, the museum will reopen on May 18.

After 50 million euros of work - double what was estimated for the first project - the museum is due to reopen with completely renovated spaces and 2,000 square meters of permanent exhibition. “It is a legacy from Thomas DobRée made to the department one hundred and fifty years ago, we could not abandon this legacy. We must pass it on to new generations,” assures the elected official.
