South African interior designer Natalie Hauman has imagined the cottage of her dreams. The 700 hectare estate is located in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley, just over an hour from Cape Town.
She was able to brilliantly sublimate the modest brick house installed on the immense plot of land. She transformed it into a white cottage with clean lines, where natural materials now dominate – wood, slate – which blend harmoniously into the warm tones of the earth and the surrounding vegetation.
