In South Lebanon, the suspended lives of refugees fleeing Israeli bombings. 500 people have taken refuge in Bazourié, several hundred in the surrounding villages.

“In our region, hospitals are not easily accessible. Especially for those displaced by Israeli raids,” says Sahar Chokor, regional manager of Amel association in South Lebanon. The border zone, where Hezbollah, its Palestinian allies and Israel have been fighting since the outbreak of the Gaza war at the beginning of October, is located just a few kilometers from this town of 15,000 inhabitants.
