Ilan Sheffler was a copywriter and creative director at Bowman and McCann until he moved to writing for television. Today he is one of the main writers on commercials for Assi Cohen, Adir Miller, Adi Ashkenazi, Kitsis and even wrote the commercials with Aviv Gefen.

Shefler explains when and why external writers like him are hired at all, why advertising agencies are ashamed of it and usually don't give them credit. He also explains how to combine copywriting with hard work in a great country.
