In the wake of the war: dozens of Bedouin youths request to enlist in the IDF. At the Iftar meal of the month of Ramadan held at the Kiryat al-Tudada in the Negev, the participation of dozens of candidates to serve in the army was recorded.

The IDF recently established a special team to increase recruitment rates among the Bedouins. The event was also attended by Minister Amichai Shikli, the elected head of the Noveh Desert Council, Lt. Col. (retd.) Salama Abu Edisan, the CEO of the BedOUin Authority.
