In Gommecourt, a rural commune in Yvelines located on the border of Val-d'Oise and Eure, right in Vexin, parents are mobilizing to denounce the closure of a class at the municipal school. At the start of the 2024 school year, there would be more than just one class for four levels.

Students from CE1 to CM2 would study with the same teacher, in the same room, while the CPs would work with the kindergarteners.
