The largest condominium in Europe, Parly 2, opts for green energy. From 2026, the 7,500 homes, or some 18,000 inhabitants, will be heated using geothermal energy.

This involves drawing hot water at 61°C from 1,200 m underground, which will supply the district heating network and produce hot water. It should make it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 18,500 tonnes per year, or the equivalent of 9,500 thermal vehicles.
