The detainee, a resident of Jenin, was examined in a prison in the south of the country, when, to the police's surprise, a tiny cell phone device was found in his prosthetic leg. After the discovery, the prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement, and an indictment for the smuggling was filed against him.
The prisons service stated that "the incarceration fighters in the prisons service and the special unit are waging a persistent struggle to prevent smuggling into the prison walls and locating prohibited objects and substances"
