Inflation erodes household wealth by 12% in 2022 - ISTAT - Business.com. At the end of 2022 the net wealth of Italian households amounted to 10,421 billion euros.
This represented a drop of 1.7% in nominal terms, but of 12.5% in real terms. Net wealth also fell in relation to disposable income, from 8.7 to 8.1, "reaching its lowest level in the survey period of this publication", ISTAT and BoI said.
