Erminio Dedodato, an entrepreneur from Vergiate in the Varese area, had nothing to do with that drug dealing ring that ended up at the center of the police investigation. He was arrested and that of a 43-year-old Albanian who immediately explained how the two kilos of cocaine found in a warehouse used by Diodato's company were his, exonerating the entrepreneur.

Assisted by the lawyer Daniele Galati, who followed him step by step, always believing him and, indeed, finding the evidence that exonerated him from the accusations. The Court of Appeal of Milan awarded this by accepting the request for unjust detention. "I lost everything I worked for all my life - adds Diodato - that morning when I was called, I didn't even want to contact the lawyer. I knew I hadn't done anything wrong," he said. The compensation request was around half a million euros, but at least it was enough, given that my client lost out on a business worth 240 thousand euros a year.
