Among the charges against him are participating in protests that disrupted internal security, spreading anti-government propaganda and insulting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The demonstrations, which had shaken the regime of the Islamic Republic for several weeks, have now calmed down in the face of a repression.
