Several countries closed their airspace overnight and interrupted air traffic. Israel, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan announced this Sunday morning the reopening of their airspace.

The majority of companies are still diverting the trajectories of their planes this morning by flying over the territories of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to the south and Turkey to the north. Several companies canceled connections to Israel and Iran this Sunday. The Israeli company El Al canceled more than 20 flights, Air France and Lufthansa canceled all connections. British Airways canceled its two flights to Tel Aviv and Emirates Airline canceled its Dubai Amman flight. Australian airline Qantas announced on Saturday that it would divert its long-haul flights between London and Perth to avoid Iranian airspace. Several companies such as Lufthyansa, Austrian Airlines and evenQantas and KLM had decided to avoid flying over Iran or serving Tehran. The U.S. State Department has issued a statement condemning Iran's attack on Israel, saying the attack was a "provocation"
