Iran has informed several countries in advance about the planned attack on Israel, an Iranian official said on Sunday. Iran's neighboring states had already received corresponding information, the Iranian foreign minister said. The attack was carried out by an Iranian-made drone and a missile that was fired from an Iranian drone. The drone was fired at Israel's southern city of Yafo, near the border with Egypt. The missile was fired by an F/A-18 Super Hornet.
