Tehran reported three explosions that occurred at dawn this Friday near a military base in the center of the country. According to state television, these "loud explosions" were heard in the central province of Isfahan, and the causes are not yet known.

No major damage has been reported. Air connections resumed early Friday morning at Tehran's two airports after being suspended following the explosions. Israel had threatened to respond to the attack launched by Tehran against its territory on the night of Saturday April 13 to Sunday April 14. This Iranian attack came following a raid against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, blamed on Israel. The Israeli army also announced this Friday morning that warning sirens had been activated in northern Israel. No missiles had been fired so far, according to Iranian authorities, and no accidents had been reported at nuclear installations in the Isfahani region, which is home to several of Iran's known nuclear sites. No planes had been shot down, but there has been no missile attack "so far," Iranian authorities said.
