Paris and London condemned the Iranian attack. Israeli ports are considered potential targets, says British maritime security company Ambrey, warning of possible “collateral damage” to ships. The Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reposted a message stating: “the evil regime will be punished”. The message was posted on the X account of the Supreme Leader’s website, which is linked to his Twitter account. The X account also includes the message: ‘The evil regime is being punished for its actions’. The tweet was later removed by Khamenei’’, but the message was still visible on his Facebook page.’ ‘‘We are proud to announce the launch of a rocket attack on an Israeli barracks in the Syrian Golan Heights,’ Khamenei said.
