GTA+ is a monthly subscription service that was launched about two years ago for the players of the new consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X\S) The service was launched at a price of $5.99 per month and this week Rockstar announced that the new price will be $7.99. This price increase is probably due to the plans to increase the value of the service in the future by adding more titles.

EA also took a similar step this week with EA Play, Sony raised the prices of its Ps Plus by 35%, and even Microsoft took a same step with the price of its Game Pass. The price increase also brings with it some value for those who decide to pay for the service. It already gives players access to other Rockstar titles, such as the remastered GTA trilogy or Red Dead Redemption, and Rockstar has already announced that its other games such as Bully or LA Noire will be available to subscribers later this year. If you thought that Rockstar suffered a drop in its player count after the announcement of GTA 6 last December, that's not the case.
