Is your neighbor contesting the boundaries of your land? This is what the law says. In the event of a problem relating to the boundary between two pieces of land, demarcation may be necessary.

It is only obligatory if one of the two owners wishes it, then the other cannot refuse. The costs relating to this procedure are shared between the two neighbors. If that is not enough, it is possible to take the matter to court, without a limitation period. The court then appoints an expert surveyor who carries out the demarcations.
