Israel is pursuing its objective of eradicating the terrorist group in the Gaza Strip. Ofer was suspended for 45 days from Parliament by its Commission following comments he made in which he called for an end to the conflict in Gaza. He said he had only done this to 'end the war in the region' and not to support Hamas.
