The Israeli army presented a plan on Sunday for the evacuation of Palestinian civilians from Rafah. Details are not known, but it arrived on the desk of the war cabinet on Sunday evening.

Around 1.4 million people – mainly refugees – are currently surviving there in more than difficult conditions. It provides for the “evacuation of the population from the combat zones” in this town in the south of the Gaza Strip, where Israel is still determined to carry out an offensive. The plan has been demanded for several weeks by the United States.
