The Israeli army informed this Sunday, April 7 that it would withdraw its troops from the south of the Gaza Strip. The resumption of negotiations for a truce was planned for the same day.

After the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7, which left 1,170 dead in Israel, the country launched a vast military response operation.
